Calvin Kwan has been a member of the Simulation and Medical Education Lab since 2011, prior to Dr. Pugh’s arrival to the University of Wisconsin. His primary focuses have been developing the breast simulators for the NIH-funded R01 grant on the clinical breast exam, syncing the laparoscopic ventral hernia video with motion monitoring systems for the Department of Defense grant for Medical Practice Initiative Procedural Skill Decay and Maintenance (MPI–PSD), and the design of a tourniquet performance system for the SBIRgrant.
