Thank you for your interest in a University of Wisconsin cardiothoracic surgery residency. The cardiothoracic residency program at UW-Madison is a 3 year traditional program involving rotations at University Hospital and the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital.
Applying
We will accept application materials through ERAS and participate in the NRMP.
- IMGS must submit valid ECFMG certificate and visa status (University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics only sponsor J-1 visas).

- USMLE Scores
- Medical School Transcript and Dean’s Letter
- Minimum of Three Letters of Recommendation
