On October 1, we officially welcomed Maria Bates, MD, to our faculty as Assistant Professor. Dr. Bates trained in our endocrine surgery fellowship program, which she completed this summer. Dr. Bates completed her general surgery residency at Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She will be providing general surgery and endocrine surgery services at SwedishAmerican, and will have OR access at University Hospital.
