
Sarah Tracy, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Surgery. Dr. Tracy will divide her time between clinical, research, and scholarly activities. Her primary clinical practices will be at American Family Children’s Hospital, Unity Point Hospital-Meriter, and SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital. Dr. Tracy’s research responsibilities will include serving as site-PI for multicenter studies through the Pediatric Surgical Oncology Research Consortium and Midwest Pediatric Surgery Consortium. Additionally, Dr. Tracy will be responsible for teaching medical students and residents within the context of her clinical practice.
Dr. Tracy was also named the Division of Pediatric Surgery Director of Surgical Oncology. In this role, she will have various responsibilities, including assisting in the development of strategic priorities and new programs.
Dr. Tracy recently finished her pediatric general surgery fellowship at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Prior to that, she completed her general surgery residency at Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston and a postdoctoral research fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital.
