Department of Surgery Faculty Members Recognized as Healthcare Research All-Stars

Several Department of Surgery faculty members were recently recognized as healthcare research all-stars by Avant-Garde Health. These surgeons were selected for the quality and quantity of research that they authored and published during 2021 and 2022.

Avant-Garde Health publishes the Healthcare Research All-Stars lists to honor the outstanding surgeons whose contributions to healthcare research significantly enhance the quality of patient care. The research of more than 90,000 surgeons was examined and only the top five percent were included based on the quantity and quality of their published research.
