Liver and Lung Transplant Programs Achieve ELITE Status from INTERLINK COE Networks & Programs

The UW Health Liver and Lung transplant programs have achieved ELITE status from INTERLINK COE Networks & Programs. INTERLINK ranks transplant programs against their peers nationwide and creates a Programs of Excellence network using their Performance Model to find the highest quality programs across the country.

To reach ELITE status, programs must demonstrate superior results across a wide range of validated risk-adjusted metrics. ELITE programs score statistically higher than the national average on the INTERLINK Performance Model.

Very few programs achieve ELITE status. Through the breadth and depth of services provided before, during, and after the transplant, the UW Health Lung and Liver transplant programs set an example for other programs.
